"Finally" my Suction Controll Valves broke down...
Started couple weeks ago, was driving slow and steady for about an hour because of traffic. With wery little fuel, the lamp for low fuel came on.
Then finally i was able to pass some cars, it pulled of like never before, but as soon as i let of the gas i got the service spanner up in the instrument.
The sound from the engine changed and there were almost no power left. Drove of to next petrol station, stopped the car and started again, but the spanner was still there and the engine reved sluggish. Topped up with diesel and it was back to normal.
So i figured and hoped it was just a "safty program" to prevent me to run out of diesel...
But this weekend it started to judder more than normal, and felt a little sluggish, i started to provoce it, suddenly total loss of power and judder. And this problem comes and goes.
So i'm pretty sure it's time to change SCV's, it's a 03. and driven almost 130000km.
Tried to order the parts from my lokal Opel dealer, but he said that he could just get me a complete diesel pump, then i gave him Field Remedy 1957...
Then he found a SCV-kit, but pricy i would say, it will cost me about £500 just for the parts.
Then i contacted a diesel specialist, they are all BOSCH specialist around here, but can also get Denso parts.
But he couldn't find out which SCV's i need for my car, he needed the part number for the diesel pump or the SCV's, I gave him the Opel numbers but it didn't help him...
Do some of you know the denso part numbers?
And then my big question that goes out to all of you that have got your SCV's changed(Or owns a Y(Z)30DT):
How much did you have to pay for the SCV kit?
I'm planning to do it my self and change the cambelt the same time, do you have to take the dieselpump out, or is it possible to reach the SCV's somehow?
