Had a letter today from Vauxhall Customer Care.

Vehicle Recall-
Possibility of setting the handbrake that it may partially release.

They have identified a problem with a number of handbrake mechanisms that may result in release of the handbrake.

they are advising contact with your local dealer to have the work done.

This recall was done on most vectra cars about 3 yrs ago or more.

As i said i recieved the letter today and thought i would post it up for people to read.
Mine hasn't been done.

It's seems there's a few cars slipped through the net I bought my siggy back in november last year and got the letter in January

It is mate the local dealer did mine outside in the parking lot 10 mins tops

How do you adjust the handbrake where is the threaded bolt?

How many notches do you have it's on 4-5 id like 3. Got new rear brake pads.

I got my letter through today. Thought it must be a new fault. Interesting that some have been sorted out a while ago and others only just been recalled!
