Default Front brake pad problem, constant rattle until brake pedal is depressed

Hi, since replacing my front brake pads on my vectra the left hand side pad to the rear of the caliper is rattling around endlessly especially at speed, which is annoyingly audible in the drivers seat. The pads were relatively cheap at £15 but you still dont expect this nonsense. The rear pad fits into the piston with a retaining spring and is loose to the touch.
Any ideas Or similar resolved experiences would be appreciated greatly!

PS, could it be possible that the retaining spring clip on the front of the caliper isnt tight enough?? I put as much tension on it as I could before refitting, does the spring affect the rear pad??? Thank you.

I had a similar problem only at the back. Turned out to be a warped disc, it tapped quite bad but went away with speed or when I braked, when I stripped the brake pads off one side was more worn than the other. Fitted new discs and solved the problem. Might be the same problem.

I cant see this being the case, as new discs were fitted at the same time as the pads
    Thanks anyway though!

One clip snaps into the piston and the other should push really tightly throught the caliper , then the rattle spring holds the pads tight in place .
If they are loose and they should not be they could be the incorrect pads .
this is the pad clip pushed through and it's a very tight fit.

I've just been through 5 sets of discs in one year, even three sets of 314 VX ones due to warping within a week. I'm sure I read on here that some cheap pads do rattle in the housing. Get VX pads or Mintex/Mtec ones.
