Dash Mods

Have recently got my hands on a CD70 for the car, and the vent surround that came with it wasn't in the best of condition.

Was wondering if anyone has seen or done anything different to the dash that I could use as inspiration to try and compensate, rather than just a respray?

try wrapping them in ali vinyl wrap

or paint the the long parts of the dash gloss black and fit the alloy strips too.

or go to VX and pay £80 for a new one.

Was thinking of wrapping the 3 vents in matt vinyl to flush in with the top half of the dash.

I was thinking of that Niall. But just wanted to see if anyone has done something abut different that might be worthwhile considering. If I'm honest I'm not a fan of the Charcoal colour.

They're not compatible. The non CID screen are square in shape, whereas the CID is rectangular being in a widescreen format (AKAIK).

Hey i have some holes in my dash where previous owner drilled them does anyone know the best way to vynal wrap the dash would i need to remove the dash first to do it

i bought smth like the chrome vinyl from e-bay, just waiting to come. i will update some pictures as soon as i fit it !!! (can`t wait) !!!!
