    Default Springs question

    An I fit springs from different engines from vectra c ie 2.2, dti, gsi ect my car is a 150 cdti also is it right they need to be the over 1000kg weight

    No, you can't just pick any springs you want - some engines are a lot heavier than others. Typically the diesels are heavier because they have iron blocks, whereas most petrol ones have aluminium blocks. You need to know what the axle weight ratings are for YOUR cars and then find springs from a car that has the same rating.

    sorry to lol....

    I'm after lowering the font end as it sits way to high, the rear sits perfect for the 19's though

    Can I get away with just changing the front springs for some 30mm lowering ones and leaving the rears standard?

    Check axle weights......Pi springs come as up to 1000kg and over 1000kg etc etc. I think most vectras have same rear axle weights (from what ive seen anyway lol).

    (P) or (F) denotes Prefacelift or Facelift; (P)(F) together denotes that no difference in axle weights between the two for that engine/bodyshape.

    will drive strange as front will be stiff and back standard i changed my fronts but didnt have enough time to do my rears so had to drive around with normal gsi springs on the rear for a few days the car didnt feel right once i got over 40mph on a stright
