    Default VXR with TD04HL19t result

Mapped today with TD04HL19t hybrid fitted giving 337bhp/449lbft @14.5psi on 97RON. I have kept restricted throttle settings with Sport button off giving 194bhp/234lbft around town.
    Thanks to Dave at www.torquetronix.com.

Smart that. So when you push the sport button you get an extra 143BHP?

    That's a proper sport button!

Exactly the power is there when you need it and not when you don't.

Very nice mate. How much was the turbo? The torque curve seems a bit odd (unless im reading the graph wrong)

    Sounds awesome!

I don't have a real VXR, but im getting there converting my V6 Turbo. :-D

Im only on a generic EDS map at the moment, really thinking about getting a custom map done at courtenay later this year with a decat.

    lol

I went down a completely different route. My 330 BHP is always there to use and I deactivated the 'Sports button' as its not needed in my car. I now use the throttle to vary the power thats applied at any one time.

The only switch I have is to Arm and Activate the NOS. Taking me to 400+ BHP, but that really is only needed for race days or other special occasions.

You're correct the plot is from a hub dyno rather than a rolling road so all changes are shown more accurately without wheelslip worries. The boost control valve was also used to vary boost through rev range rather than just limit to a max value .

Unfortunately sometimes I have off days were full power is not required and others drive car too so throttle limited suits well and saves fuel.

Actually thats a really good point. Some wives and partners wont drive the Vectra VXR because its too powerful. Your solution with duel power button is really good that that scenario as well.
