Sorry to jump in but it is on post...

Would the change in aspect ratio from 50 to 45 effect the speedo reading at all?
It's just that I've got the same tyre as the OP...

only slightly, but maginal. They will also look smaller. The overall diameter of the 45 wall tyres when new is the same as a fully worn 50 wall tyre.

in fact there is a 6mm rolling radius drop in the 225/45 tyre (12mm in diameter, half inch is quite a lot. IMO) - it can be tech'd out tho

speed rating mate as long as you dont plan on going over 160mph you will be fine with 91y
