Default ******, screwed up Map light L.E.D change

Just received some led's and smd's to finish of my conversion, done my TC switch then went to do the map lights, while desoldering the orange leds, first one I did I've taken all of the solder off, obviously can't get any more solder to stick to the same point now, ********!

Looks like I need to order new map lights

how many leds are you changing?. as you can just use a short piece of wire and solder from broken led to the next good one,

Well I've successfully screwed up all 3 -'s, I have one good + though, so I've linked the 3 +'s to that, are there any other earths I can use on that pcb?

You've got your soldering iron way too hot fella.

I can't adjust the heat, it's just a 240v soldering iron, I think it's more to do with my technique, whats the general practice for removing the old leds
