    Default Water cooled PC rebuild...

Following on from this thread from last years build its all been stripped down and started from scratch, reason being was a slight leak in the polycarbonate tank I made, so, new motherboard, latest i7 processor and a complete case respray in piano black and Arden blue, ended up making a new plate above the bottom Radiator as I had to rotate the power supply 90 degrees to get the bottom Rad in, as for the tank, well, went one better, made some aluminium ones as the machine has 2 loops this time with 2 pumps rated at 1500 litres an hour each so thats why such big tanks. Each one is 600mm long and 100mm diametre with a volume of about 4 litres each. a total of 13 fans in and 2 radiators should keep this beast cool now thank god... just a few pics so far...

I used to build custom PC's but I have to say that is way beyond what I have done. It looks great. Well done!

Oh and liquid with computers is fine as long as you have no conducting materials in there. General water does though.

You can dip a fully powered on PC in certain fluids without an issue,

My current build - best part of it is the SSD; makes so much difference to the performance it's unreal... Rest of it is a bog standard i5 2500K and GTX570.

Not as flashy as my old build was, but still great fun and runs with just one cooling fan. If it was sitting idle or just on the forums I could have no fans running at all and it would be stable temp-wise...

This is the last one I did for a mate. Built it a few years ago for him but he wanted an upgrade. New graphics card was fitted (ATi Radeon 6770) and another 4GB of memory was whacked in. Since this photo was taken it had another coolant change and now has red coolant in.

Almost looks like it should be worn by a Goth in the Steam Punk style.
