Default Vaux Man G's Sri Project got a boost today

Today I met G who was a thoughly nice bloke.

We had a good long chat about cars and a look over the vec's (as you do)

We met at the holiday Inn just off Junction 16 of the M1

We then unloaded a full SRI interior (in great condtion) from mine in to his.

He is well chuffed with his new accessories

Here is what he got today

Cheers G it was great to meet you today and hope the interior fit goes well.

Seems obvious to me that the slide fits on top of the vacuum cleaner.

Ahh, I get it, it's going to be hidden inside the new shed shaped spoiler.

Haha, you guys are all nutters! I love it!!

The slide is a temporary measure to ensure I have a safe landing when I fly out of the window cornering in the current Design interior!

Yes, its shocking. I do feel like im going to slide out.

And a massive thank you to Chris too, lovely guy, a good "road trip" for both of us I guess, a great donation too. Thats what this Club is all about.

If I had space for the socket set and torx, I would have roped you into changing the trim with me there and then. Can you imagine if we had left the old on in the Holiday Inn car park!!

I cant wait to get it fitted. Got home, but had to baby sit my son and niece, but as soon as the wife got back, I had the torx and socket out and managed to loosen the nuts (not mine down below-lol) in readiness for the weekend.

    Roll on Saturday!

Oh, and here is the SRI conversion thread for those of you that havent seen it already: http://www.vectra-c.com/forum/showth...rogress-thread

Mate it was my pleasure. It was taking up room and I just was not going to use it as a spare set after all.

At least this will keep you slipping out of the seat in times of need

Would have been fun to change the seats in the car park of the Holiday Inn but im sure we would have not got away with it.

Mind you I didn't see anything for the kids to play on so it could have worked out well.

Just wait until you get the hugging seats in. You will find a new life in cornering

Glad I could be of help. Hope to see the pics of the new interior soon.

    Take care

    Cheers
