Need to do this mod, think it looks great,i have all the bits and am ready to go,popped out the alarm censor, removed light cover, removed 3 torx screws then after a bit of a struggle managed to remove the whole assembly along with the glasses holder from the roof and unplugged, this is where i get stuck was going to fix wires to the bulb holders as in the how 2 i read as my soldering skills are not good, so i need the circuit board off the holder, can free the front and sides but the button end is not having it,its the 4 button type with the map lights, gave up for now as i was afraid of snapping the board, any advice would be really appreciated

Just use small bit o solder make sure tin the wires aswel.

you could always just wrap cable round bulb connector for now. An then get someone local to our dab of solder on for you
