    Default Dimming door mirror

Right, now that I have the 6-wire auto-dimming rear view mirror and seen exactly how good it is at keeping my eyeballs from burning out when tw*ts drive behind me with wonky headlights or with main beam on, I'd like to fit the dimming driver's door mirror as well. Can someone explain to me in simple terms (as I am a techno-biff) what wiring would be required, what and where I need to check to see what I've already got (connections, etc), and whether any Tech2 wizardry would be needed. Would I get away with just fitting the auto-dimming glass to my existing door mirror? Yes, I have searched but that's only left me all the more , lol. Sorry for the lack of paragraphs but I am at work and the IT system here is stuck in 2002, hence no formatting.

Morning mate, glad the interior mirror is working

As for your next mod, tech2 = no, but 2 wires will need to be added to the REC (rear fuzzybox) and run around the car to the wing mirror, then you'll either need the correct wingmirror (is has 2 extra wires) or a very small drill bit to make holes through the connector for the 2 extra wires..
Plasma's Tech2 services are now partially open and able to provide services

as above 2 wires will need to be run from the REC to the drivers door mirror, try the search function again as there are some helpful threads on this, well I found them useful! I decided to buy a second hand auto dim drivers mirror and swapped my plastic covers onto it (as is was the wrong colour) and all works a treat.
