    Default Bad time for the vectra :(

    Well missis pick me up from work and I drove went round a corner heard a bang from passenger side thinking nothing of it went round another corner bang ok wtf carried on went over bumps nothing went over another bang **** got home and the car is sitting lower on passenger side so spring must of gone **** lol

    Oh oh looked at rear of the wing near rear light and some heartless poo head has keyed the car around 5 inch so need get da out

    So the big question am on budget so will lo 45mm front and rear springs be alright for 89.50

    You should be able to see the spring at the top with the wheel off. It tends to break at the top and a small bit falls off and can end up sticking in the well or left behind on the road. Check your tyre for damage just to be on the safe side.

    On the subject of 45mm springs I think they would be a bit much for the SRi shock and would ideally be beeter with a shorter shock such as a B6/B8 Bilstein. I would not use any springs that go that low on the standard shock. Best getting 30mm Eibach ones, they are a bit more money but have a longer warranty and will work well on the SRi shock.

    There will be other members that sat 45mm is fine but then I don't they realise how badly their car can handle

    Jack it up so you can see it better. Spring will probs wobble around as the shocker is fully extended.

    Cheers guys I got measuring tape front the centre ground to wheel arch this is what I found

    Drivers side




    Passenger side
