    confused visor loom

hi all, have a bit of bother, i bought some illuminated visors thinking the loom would already be on the car - not the case

i have the how-to and it recommends i wire in something makeshift - not comfortable with that

so i was wondering if anyone knows where i can buy the wires, trust me i have tried - for 2 weeks now - on ebay, parts websites, anywhere i can find and no-one is selling it.

does anyone have the wires that go between the central roof light and the visors? pleeeeaaase !!!

    thanks, jack

they arent seperate wires, its all part of the roof loom, but you may be able to wire into the map reading lights and run a cable from there?

huh, i was going by the connector on the map light

    maplight.jpg

i assumed a wire would plug in there and split of to both visors as in this picture
    visors.jpg

that is for a omega but i figured it would be the same for a vectra

i could well be completely wrong !!

Have you pulled the front part of the headlining down ?
I fitted mine last week, found the o/s connector taped up where the sun visor clip lives but the nearside was well hidden took about 5-10 minutes to get the loom separated and plug it in, all in all it only took 20 mins to do.

Just to let you know the looms are all flat plastic type not bulky wires

The full set, including auto-lights switch and presumably the rare EX rain sensor is also there for £75 (same seller I think).

thanks for your replies guys, i only wanted to spend £10-ish on the wires ...

there is a couple of wires on sale on ebay 380123121062 and 120941601158 - they're for an omega, but i don't know if they fit on a vectra c. i've asked the sellers and they don't know.
would anyone here know how i can find out?
