    Hi all,i have a signum cdti and want to know does your siggy or vec estate run rough when its doing a regen as mine as all on to tick over and when driving in very slow traffic its kangarooing like mad until its finished the regen,cheers

    yes, the throttle responce is soo much more sensitive at low down speeds and you need to have a 'finer' foot... I held it at 3000rpm during a regen when it was happening just as i was parking so kept the revs high and when finished (not changing my foot on throttle at all) the rpms dropped down to about 2400rpm or so.

    So you can just hold your foot down on the throttle at 3000rpm for a regen the car dose not have to be moving to do this?

    Correct as long as engine is above 2000 rpm

    How do you know when the car is doing a regen? sorry to sound like a noob! but i don't have the car on the road yet so i don't know!

    My car does this usually once a month and the simptoms are smoke from exhaust which i never see on my signum and board computer is showing between 10 and 20 mpg driven lightly and rough running,just want to know if anybody else experiences this rough running

    its not rough running its just the timing slightly altered so gives the impression of rough running

    The mpg is low the exhaust note is higher
