Default Estate reverse light wire - ID for park sensors

Hi. Just fitted CISBO sensors but cannot ID reverse light wire in left side boot (fuse area) of estate car (2007 Life). I checked all the old posts but the links are dead so can't find a pic or precise description. Any help or pic would be so appreciated as I really want to see if they work! Thanks

The wiring should be the same...

If that fails... You could just turn the key, put it in gear so the reverse light is on, and then just stick the wire in the block, moving down and seeing if you get a beep from one of them, then take it out of gear, see if it's the right one. Thats what I did with my front ones, to find the brake light.

Think it's white with black stripe on the hatchback, if that's any use?

Yep. Took your advice and stuffed the wire in the holes in the block and bingo they work! Thanks for that. Any ideas what the crimp on connectors are called for the wire to secure in the pin in the block. I live miles from a Maplin so will need to try eBay. Thanks a lot.

I just used electrical tape and a cable tied it to the reverse wire to keep it in the hole, I never removed the reverse wire to crimp it.

There's not actually any wire in the hole in the block! So I need something to keep it in there.

No. I looked at the picture for the hatch (as above - link) and used PICTURE 1: blue block socket 1 / pin 1. But my car is the estate and there is no wire in that position but it functions as it should - reverse sensor activate with reverse gear selection. I hope it will be ok. No warning lights on the dash etc. What do you rekon?

If it works when just the reverse light comes on, then I guess it would be fine. I guess you maybe dont have the bulb fail relay for the reverse lights? I may be wrong.

Best mod I ever did to my car...
