    Default Z20net grey injectors.

Hi. I have just bought a set of brand new grey injectors complete with fuel rail and loom as fitted to the later engines and was wondering will these fit straight on to my 53 reg edition 100 and could i get the later software from vauxhall until i get a remap?

you can drive with them in but just don't drive it hard until you get a remap as you will overfuel the engine. your existing injectors are the blue 261cc injectors and their connectors will be different. you would have been better off just buying the green siemens deka 381cc injectors as the have the same connectors. did you buy the injector harness as well? out of curiosity how much did you pay for those injectors and the fuel rail?

I paid £50 complete with the harness, fuel rail, and fuel pressure regulator. Some one on ebay had bought them but sold his signum so didnt need them. Is the rail easy to get out? I had a quick look and saw there are wires above them in a plastic tray.

I thought it was to good to be true at that price but just bought them as soon as i saw them! So they will be ok to fit straight on? Do you think its worth asking the dealers if they can flash the later software? Sorry for all the questions! After reading your mods changing the injectors must seem easy to you!

i do not think they will flash a different level on for you as the cars that had these injectors also had a different turbo.. Your better just going for a remap and you will love the difference it will make..

As said its a straight fit.. shame your not nearby as i would show you how to do it. Will you be at the heritage meet next month, could help you then?

I've fitted the injectors and it starts ok but struggling to get the bolt holes to line up. Are the injectors normally tight to get in all the way? I dont want to push to hard incase I brake anything!
