Poor venting.
Is the back cover still on?
Happened to mine once, the back cover had dropped off
Edit>> Just re-read thread . No holes in the cover? Do they dry out with the lights on?
Only hole is for hid but got the grommet on n like I said the other side got no cover on and done it. Not sure if they dry with lights onOriginally Posted by tony-1977
stick a gel sash in the back of the headlight to remove the mostiour also run with the lights on to help it my guess is you have damp getting in somewhere happened to me when my cap was not on fully so worth a double check
Both of mine were a bit like that when I got the car, but not quite as bad. I took the rubber bulb caps/covers off for a week or so and let them dry out naturally. I then put the cap/cover back on, and they have both been fine since.
I know you can dry them out quicker using a hairdryer etc, but to be honest I reckon that doing that just keeps the problem going if there is any dampness in the air. The hot surface tends to just form condensation on it again as it cools in my experience.
Cheers guys al remove the caps let it breath and hope it goes away looks a mess lol
How wierd mines just done exactly the same tonight after washing it and was just going to post about it. Going to leave the cap off to dry it out then pop back on. I too have hids with the grommet so will try sealing around this of it happens again
