hi ppl, cruise control not working, i understand the cc display should appear on the dash when the ignition is turn to position 2, however mine isnt, any info as to what i can check and how to do it would be greatly appreciated, not the return spring, brand new one fitted today, thnx guys

Never seen a Vectra-C that does that as a checklight when the key is first turned. I think it's a misprint in the handbook.

The CC will not work until you have braked once, just incase you are trying to get it to work straight away.

Hi Craig, i too have the same problem with the CC, i have been told by a vauxhall tech mate that it's the CIM behind the dash that needs replacing as as mine lost the fast speed on the wipers too when i had some water ingress in the wiper motor. Although without actually having it done i cant confirm this.

Isnt there an issue with the multi-plug in the engine bay? Something to do with the ABS that can cause other problems? It may just need cleaning. Check on the forum.
