    Default Heater fan problems

    Hi all, over the weekend I noticed that the heater/blower fan is not working on setting 1,2 & 3 only on setting 4? Any idea's?

    Resistor pack on the bottom of the blower motor housing.

    Remove the glove box and you'll see the loom going in to it.

    Will need repalcing, but clean the scuttle drain in front of the pollen filter to keep the water out, as that's what blows it

    New heat fuse from ebay, http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VECTRA-C-S...item2a1ff8f1e6

    £9.44 and next day delivery. Loads of info on here on what you need to do but the seller above also puts in a full info pack with the fuse. You may well also be getting wet carpets in the passenger footwell, check the scuttle tray and the heater inlet. There's loads on that here too.

    Hi all, just thought I would et you know that I brought the resistor(thanks carperjack) The instructions that came with it were spot on, removed glovebox,heating pipe, resistor pack, cut off old one fitted new old, tested....purfect!!! refiited it all back and cleaned/washed out the drain hole outlet and refitted, a bargian price, top instructions and a 20 min job. Fantastic!!!!!
