    Can ya get a chrome pipe for the air filter before the maf on the cdti 150

    Best bet is to measure the diameter of the pipe with a vernier or similar tool and then jump on ebay, there's tons of polished alloy pipes with varying angles and diameters, chances are you'll need silicone couplers to fit an alloy pipe between the top of the airbox and MAF, a silicone will go straight in.

    Cheers mate am thinking of just putting silicone one to the maf not got the car with me so if anybody is free ya fancy measureing it for me

    I measured mine the other day and I think on the MAF sensor it's 69mm and on throttle body it reduces to 64mm from what I measured anyway

    Thanks mate will a normal silicone hose go on at them diameters or will I need redusers ect

    I was asking the same question i thought that a 64mm silicone hose would stretch to 69mm with a bit of heat up from hot water but i am not 100% sure so wouldnt like to say i was looking at doing the air intake my self there was a thread on here the other day about someone sending all the hoses from a 1.8 out to have silicone replacments made but not sure how he got on he wanted to see what the interest in it would be if he could get them made
