    Default Help For The Clooooless

New model needs a new name, post up a name that you think will best fit the Vec replacement, maybe someone from Vx will read and take note.

Well it's a quick thought one, but you get the idea.

Let's face it the current naming convention Vx have is -

    1. Cors(a)
    2. Tigra(a)
    3. Meriv(a)
    4. Astra(a)
    5. Zafir(a)
    6. Vectr(a)
    7. Signum (odd one out)

so, I reckon they'll be going a name that ends in an (a).

When I was a boy (a few years ago!) my dad’s pall used to come up to visit in his rally prepared Magnum (my dad worked on it for him), looked/sounded amazing – still stick in my mind. This could be the brit version of the Monaro

    Here's my 5ps worth...

Whilst growing up in NZ, I always liked Holden built Monaro's, Commodores and the older Toranas. I read some time ago that that GM in Australia are going to launch a new Torana sometime soon, so thats that name out the window. (Commodore and Monaro are also out...How about a play on words...Commaro?)

If the new Vectra/Insignia is going to be something "new" it could be the new Calibra? Better sounding than Insignia at least. Mind you, it would have to have some level of performance attached to that name I guess...

Thats is it then, I decree the name Magnum be relaunched, ok so it used to sit on a glorified Viva all them yrs ago, but having seen it suggested now I'm all for it, imagine the sales pitch as well.

Introducing the new Vauxhall Magnum....the car that will blow you away!
