I removed an m32 gearbox the other day but could only access the bolt near the selector housing by removing the selector housing itself.
how do you remove that bolt without removing the selector housing ?

On TIS it says to remove selector turret mate.
I removed it when I did mine.
Unless can get flexi spanner. Or something on it?
I removed it and ended up getting it stuck on the way in and knocking a syncro ring off and having to take the end of the box off to put it all back in place
I did have trouble getting mine back in. Battle with it for about 20/30 mins before it finally dropped in
I removed the selector to remove the bolt and replaced the selector no problem, removed the selector again to replace the bolt and that's when it all went wrong, so i was just wondering if anyone has managed to get to the bolt without removing the selector and what they used ?
I have since made a slim line ratchet to do it next time, just waiting for the next m32 to come in.
I take it that no one else has done their own clutch on their car fitted with an m32 gearbox ?
Hi Aiken, sorry for hijacking but you obviously know your gearboxes, mine is 2005 CDTI 120 YD05UPH, I don't suppose you know which box this is?? Long shot and maybe a bit cheeky Lol but it could be either the F40 or M32 and as I'm hoping to have a go myself I need to get the parts buy right
Thanks in advance, Justin
