Nexus 7, 8GB or 16GB

Going to get myself a new Tablet and not being an Apple fan i'm looking at the Googles new Nexus 7 with Jelly bean out in 2-3 weeks. Now for my phone I like a good memory because I pack it full off music, apps and a few films for my lunch break.

Looking at the Nexus it only comes in 8 and 16GB so much smaller than my phone but I wont be storing music and the like on it.

The 8GB is £159 and the 16 is £200 and the stock memory isn't expandable, so for jut apps and a few pics is the 16gb going to be worth it?

Cheers HP. Unfortunately thats only Android 2.3 rather than 4.1. I bought my mother a 2.3 a few years back, at the time it was great but unfortunately Android Market/Google play doesnt give great support to them now.

I was looking at one of these myself as I gave my Galaxy Tab to my Dad... Heard something earlier about Apple Forcing google to drop something?? Seen anything about that Steve??

No pete, but Apple have been on Google's case for a while on several things. Its all good IMO, if they dont push each other then the products go stale. There is talk of an Apple 7 inch though, but as usual nothing concrete. Some of the review forums are funny, they all boil down Apple vs Google and end up in a You tube style slagging match.

The specs on this little tab look fantastic especially for the price, looks like they have gone down the Kindle fire route but done it properly.

I'm thinking of getting one of these, but will be going for the 16gb seeingas there is no micro SD slot.. wouldn't want to get an 8gb and find I need a bit more than 8gb of storage.

Exactly my thoughts, it seams there are quite a few things lacking in SD slots now, my Xperia S is the same, although with the Dropbox App any pics I take on it get instantly uploaded to my PC so I can keep pic storage to a minimum that way.
