    Drove this morning using the brakes quite hard and when I got home I could smell burning brakes just had a look and the paint has burnt this is drivers side rear

    Sticky/ seized caliper causing the disc the get extremely hot

    Jack up an see if can spin by hand.

    If not unclip handbrake cable of that still doesn't help.

    Clamp flexi pipe an undo bleed nipple slightly.

    Then if non of them. As has been case of my o/s/r caliper twice! The piston seizes an will need to replace caliper.

    Expect about 25 quid from a breakers yard. Vauxhall have them for 85 if I remember rightly an you get 25 back when you return old caliper

    Really oh bum lol it moves rolls back off the drive no probs tho going have a look see if wheel moves freely

    Jacked up both sides and they are both moving freely with the handbrake off

    What paint did you use? Maybe the heat is normal for braking hard like you described but the paint is not up to the job?

    Looking at the caliper spring Beeing painted who ever painted it didn't do a good job did they looks like every thing was slap dashed lol maybe the paint is poor paint or has got somewhere it don't need to be take it back to who did it show them that paint all on the spring and spring hole and poke them in the eye for a shoddy job...

    Am going to run away now I painted them the reason there like that is when I had them blue and when was doing the brakes was banging at the caliper to remove them and chipped the paint so need redoing but needs all sanded down and redone was rushed when I did it as it started to rain when I was finishing
