    Default Speed Camera Locator

Get down to Adli today. They are selling the Talex Lite speed camera locator for £60. Usual price £89 or even £99 at some places. This unit won the best in class as it picked up almost everthing thrown at it, beating road angel and the snooper unit into the bargain. Even gives you audible warning of mobile laser sites and warns of the speed limit where ever you happen to be at that time. Must be a bargain surely?

Thanks for the heads up on this ... I have just been out and bought one and I have to say it seems very good ... much better even than the £350 road angel 2 that I used to own but ended up selling because I got so annoyed with it. Seems much better designed and has better features IMO. Think I will buy one of their 3 year database upgrade kits @ £60 after Christmas

    Yep that's the one!...

The unit seems superb ... very small and low profile so easy to store when out of the car and seems solidly built, speed for site displayed AND Spoken when you approach a camera and it ONLY speaks a warning 200yds before IF you are over the speed limit ... VERY good value for £60 IMO and an update kit including usb lead, software and 3 years of updates is only £60 ... bargain!

Edit: Sorry forgot to say ... yes database pre-loaded onto it which I guess is fairly recent ... if you want updates then you can buy an update kit from here: http://www.talex.co.uk/buyonline/default.asp

That's quite cool that you can do that ... the Road Angel used to allow access to their database based on your units serial no ... this system must be less advanced ... cool

I just use mk1 eyeball and tomtom scamera database , the talex look horrific , Looks like james age 9 made it in craft design and technology at school using an old bedside alarm clock .

It certainly isn't the most pleasing of units to the eye but it really does seem to do the job very, very well and it's low profile format means less of a distraction and info that you want is there instantly ... no screen to have to 'hunt' around like the Road Angel ... the Road Angel is very pretty and blue with a large format screen etc etc but to be honest I think I actually prefer this unit. Just my oppinion of course but as a gadget lover I usually like bells and whistles. I also love the fact that this is so small ... much easier to store than the Road angel which was always a pain taking in and out of the car.
