Yes mate, He put it on the rolling road first, then took the DPF off and put a piece in place, blanked the EGR for me and then did the remap with another RR afterwards..

I was very impressed myself, he's a top bloke. Would highly recommend to any user of this site..

Do you have to blank the egr? Also does the car kick out black smoke without the DPF? With all that torque I bet it's a beast

I'd love to go back there with my Insignia - my Vectra was amazing with his remap and I had the fiugres checked on another rolling road at the other end of the country which came out bang on his. the performance was epic and it didn't put a foot wrong in 15K. I just wish I didn't have a lifetime warranty with mine now...

Well, if you're going there there's not reason to not blank it off and map it out - the valve does nothing useful and only ruins your intake manifold...

The EGR does do something very useful! It reduces emissions, helping to reduce the tax banding. It also makes a very useful mounting point for my external waste gate. Beyond that it is not useful.

Thats just like our lass. Very usefull at some stuff but when she goes wrong, she's a Pain in the arse!!!
