I loved my Signum.... it was the PERFECT size for us... Same they stopped making them.
I had an '05 vectra estate for 4 years and loved it (faults and all). I now have an Insignia sports tourer 160 cdti auto sri and have had this car just over a year now and I absolutely love it,it is a tad smaller internally than the cavernous.vectra, but a million times better.
The vectra was so dull and boring and the radio/cd screen was depressing to see in that awful yellowy hue, it was a useful and practical car, but thats about all... The insignia is a very nice place to be and hats off to vx for what I call progress!
I have to admit that the Insignia Sports Tourer is one smart looking car. Having tried one out recently, I agree that the cockpit is a significant improvement on the Vectra. Aside from the smaller hold, the car's big minus is that the rear visibility is just awful compared to the Vectra estate, and is like staring out of a letterbox. Given that I chose an estate for its sheer practicality, I don't think I'll be getting rid of the Vectra any time soon.
