    Hi all,
    Im abit of a car numpty, can only do the basics lol.
    That being said what is re-mapping all about? I have a 2.0t signum and a few people have sed to get it done and it will make car faster and increase fuel economy??

    A. Is this all true
    B. How much will it cost (roughly)
    C.Will it damage car at all

    04 plate, 52 thou miles on clock, Is it worth doing just want to know what the experts say lol

    its worth doing.. it will not damage you engine at all and can give you better fuel economy. you will enjoy the extra power though, i guarantee that.

    Was thinking about getting this done on my 2.2 direct, has anyone got it done to theirs and would you recommend it. There is a company that does it in Bristol for £225 is that good or bad?

    On the normally aspirated (non-turbo) engines you will get minimal increase in power for your money. It may give you a small increase and make it a little more responsive, but don't expect big gains from just a remap on a non-turbo car.
