Default FAO anyone with a broken recirculation servo!

Just a heads up for anyone that has that horrible clicking noise when opening the car or pressing the recirculation button.

Standard air con and electronic climate control both share the same recirc servo.....just makes it easier for anyone looking for a replacement.

    Just fitted one today

    The job is very simple

Remove the glove box (5 Torx screws and disconnect the glove box light)

The recirc motor is located on the left (or right on lhd cars) hand side of the blower motor housing. Two Torx screws hold the motor to the side of the blower housing and the hardest bit is finding the right combination of screwdriver/extension etc as access is the biggest problem.

If I have time in the next few weeks I'll write a how2

£72 from the dealers is the best price I can get for it here as mine's gone a couple of weeks ago. At the moment I'm just putting up with it, hoping one comes up a fair bit cheaper at some point

I gave mine away when I changed my air box to Pipamish if it's the same servo motor as on the other side of the air box I have a couple more on the old box which is currently at Caveman Nige's if you find out then there are 2 available 1 to Ely and 1 to Norway.
