    Default cambelt and water pumop

    going to have a go to renew my cambelt and water pump anyone on here fancy cuming to help beer, sarnies cuppas contribution etc would be appreciated any offers please lads on a 2007 1.9 cdti 150 thansk

    Its fairly easy mate but if your doing it on the drive a jack and a wooden chock may make things a wee bit easier to slide under the sump due to the fact you need to take off the engine mount and casing to get to the water pump.. I jacked it up a wee bit to assist with access.
    just set crankshaft markings up and with top cover off mark camshaft engine cast.. I took me about an hour and a quarter, but remember before ya turn the key, rotate it with a socket and spanner on the crankshaft.. Oh And a set of derive sockets for the crankshaft pulley might come in handy too
