    Default Have a look at this

    Well I set about cleaning the air box out and doing the mod and thought this check the belt before I fork out for a new one and what do you guys think this dosnt look original and the belt reads hnbr-gf-pa66 made in EEC this tells me it may have been changed as it dosnt have gm stamped anywhere milage is 107.000

    Remember in most cases its not the belt that breaks, its the water pumps that seizes, then shreds the belt. If in doubt change it imo.

    Its not just the condition of the belt.

    Its the water pumps and tensioners that normally fail first.

    At that mileage I would replace them all for piece of mind anyway.

    I can see were this one is going it's a tricky one when it comes to cam belts isn't it can't beat a bit off peace off mind
