kyb rear springs

bought some kyb rear springs for my 1.8vvt sri , they were in the catalogue as RX6764 so i bought them but they are different to whats on my car the ones on my car are miniblock type coned at each end but these are progressive with tighter coils at one end i phoned the motor factors up were i ordered them from and they said they are the right ones for the car "lowered chassis" so i told him the shape of the ones on my car now which are original and he said the only others listed like that were for non sport suspension , i cant get my head round it , is it cos these are aftermarket ones ? are proper vauxhall ones the miniblock coned at each end type? or is there a mistake some were ? they insist i have the right ones for the car but why so different from the original ones ? is it the way kyb have decided to make these for this type of car? dont know what to do now ....
