Lights on/Doors open/ warning buzzer

Hi,

Hope someone can help me with this one. Have a May 2005 pre face lift 1.9CDTI SRI hatchback 8 valve 120.

No buzzer alarm sounding if lights left on/door open/key left in ignition.

Should my model have such an alarm as handbook is unclear and if so which fusebox will I find the relevant fuse in and if possible the number of it.

Remember my wife had a corsa (don't laugh) but it didn't have one. So it may be that in days gone by they were not standard. I remember having a cav that didn't have one too when I think about it.

Pretty sure all models came with it as standard. Even my Dad's base model 51 reg Astra-G had a key left in igntion warning and headlights left on alarm.

Do your indicators "tick tock" when used?
Do you get a beep when putting the parking lights on? (with key out the ignition switch the indicator stalk to the left or right)
When switching off the wipers, do you hear a faint electronic sounding click?
IF you lightly pull on the handbrake while doing more than 10 mph, do you get a warning noise?

If no to any of the above, then the sounder for all of these (including lights on, key in ignition, etc) isn't working.

Thanks for your replies John and Dave, any idea if this is an easy DIY fix, for example a fuse like I first thought or is it more involved to sort it out,

Remember when asking about the wifes corsa. Vauxhall said they could fit it. I presume its is some plug in module

I could be wrong, but I think it's part of the CIM unit under the steering wheel.

Does the door open light show on the dash with the driver's door open?

Never got an answer to part of my other question I put to you:

Tick tock-no
No beep when putting parking lights on
No click when turning off wipers
No warning noise re handbrake
And just to clarify, yes the red door open light does come on in the display under the tach when I open it but no other lights flashing or otherwise by way of alarms on dash
