    Default Aerial Base

Does anyone know how to tighten the aerial base on a 2008 Vectra? Mine's started wobbling!

yes, drop the rear portion of the headlining to access the nut which secures the base and tighten it, think its 17mm. When I changed mine for a DAB aerial its wasn't very tight at all!

This how to should help... it's for fitting a rear light but you can get at the Aireal base doing the same thing...

Oh... consider loosening it first and putting some black sealent on the base and tightening it up... That should ensure the base is tight and wont lett water in...

Thanks - the rubber base is fine though. The whole aerial assembly was replaced by VX last year. Guessing that's why it's now loose cos the monkeys didn't tighten it properly!
