Default Vec 57 - Fan Speed 1-3 stopped working?

Driving back from work yesterday to find the fan wouldnt come on when selecting speed/setting 1, 2 or 3. The full speed (ie: fan setting 4) and the button to demist the front window works no problem? All other dash/electrical features seem fine too.

Could it just be a fuse, if so which one do i need to replace.

    Thanks in advance

iirc there is a resistor or something that can blow, afaik its an easy fix, might be in the how2 section.

failing that someone who knows will be along to advise

Resistor in the bottom of the blower motor housing. Accessible from the passenger footwell. £26 from the main dealers, and 20 minutes to fit yourself

I've just changed the circuit board in my heater control panel as this turned out to be the problem.

Or loads cheaper (approx £1) if you buy a new thermal fuse and replace it.
