Morning all

My car had it's MOT yesterday it needed afew things done it's a 57 Sri 26k on clock

New front tyre

Rear spring as the old one was fractured

And one rear brake pad

And the cost of the MOT

£200 cash

Does this sound about right??

He is a a fella in our street with own garage

When I collected the car he made a joke and said ohhh it was too cheap ECT but mates rates

Depends on the quality of tyre?

One rear brake pad? Should be fitted in sets and done both sides.

tyre would be between £55 and £200 depending on quality, MOTs are £40 so cheapest there you're up to £100 about. Leaving £100 for spring and brake pad,.. but as above, fitting pads I would do both sides, and the same with springs... never one side
