Default Wiper Electrical Problem? (Not sticking or cold weather problem)

I have a very annoying problem all of a sudden, in the last couple of days my wipers have just completely stopped working, literally I turn them on and nothing happens, all of a sudden driving don't the road they'll start working for a few minutes then stop again. I checked the fuses and they are fine but it seems there is no power to them, the relay has power because I can hear it and feel it when the wiper down is pushed... This I think has got to be something to do with the electrics surely, but I really don't know, has anyone got any ideas?

    Cheers, Adam

Well, cheers critch, you were pretty much right, either a wiper arm or the motor had gotten stiff, yesterday I turned them on and literally poked the wiper blade and away it went, tried it a few times and it worked, luckily yesterday eve we had a massive downpour so I went out and put them on full for about 20 minutes, what ever it was seems to have cleared for now but i expect I'll be getting another motor at some point, oh the car had been sitting for a year, that's why this had happened. Amazing really, the car sat in all weathers outside just to have a new battery, an oil change and filter just to go straight through an mot... Madness! Anyway, thanks for your help

    Cheers, Adam
