    Default V6 with out a back box (muffler)

    Has any one ever run their v6 with out a backbox (muffler). How did it sound? Im aware of all the possible issues, and at the moment am only interested in if it sounded nice or awful?

    Yes, when I swapped my original tailpipes for Remus - it sounded awful.

    If you want a great sound from your car, fit a Pipercross Viper Induction Kit. The induction noise with the V6 is amazing and IMO better than anything that any exhaust can produce.

    I thought that would be the answer. Rules out my cunning plan then

    Plus I dont think there is an induction kit for the 2.8
