Hi Guys,

Conducting a little expirement..

Could you please tell me your code index that your screen has if you have a CDTI vectra...

To do this all I need you to do is the following on your head unit:
Start the car
press the main button
press and hold the settings button for approx 10 secs - you will hear a beep
press the BC button and you get the normal BC screen
press the BC button again and you enter the 'test' mode screens.

the first screen will have Code: and will be comething like 005 or 014 v1 etc etc.

Can you tell me yours?
Also the software release date (on the same screen)?

Need to know year / model / hatch or estate

Press the BC button to cycle through the screens - and as soon as you turn off the ign it all goes back to normal.

Just trying to compair the code indexes with those officially documented.. Ive seen same cars with different code programmed (from factory) and the BC says different MPG etc

Need some more guys Estates too please

hi tried to add this to your thread but having a problem adding so heres mine if it helps

2008 vectra 120 hatch back

So can you tell if mines correct ? and do you know if i can activate the BC 2 on the cd40 opera with scroll wheel? looking at these codes?
