Thumbs up A fond farewell to Vectra C from a grateful member

I am no longer a Vectra owner :-(

....so I just want to say a big thank you to all the people who have been of enormous help through the forum and in person during my time as a member.

Due to various factors positive and negative- I have sold on my sick but tidy looking vec and(please don't laugh) bought a 1 year old kia soul.
It is the vec C of its day. It is a lot of car and fun for the money and will be even more so once I get it mapped or stick a steinbauer on it.

So I bid you all farewell and wish you well in the future. I probably won't visit often- as it'd only remind me of the loss of the beast.

Thanks to one and all for- It's all been fun and an absolute pleasure. Happy motoring and modding.

    Steven

I'm back for a nose already. been looking into a steinbauer box for the soul and a lot of the stuff thats a search brings up is links to here lol

They reckon the eco box will give+30bhp 50nm of torque and the power box could yield about about +50bhp 80nm of torque on the 1.6 crdi, which are figures achieved on the 2 souls they had as company cars.

hopefully it'll easy to fit too as there is loads of room in the engine bay- no more scraped knuckles when changing the headlight bulbs ;-)

I will miss the beast though. Apparently it is on it's way to romania........
