    Default Rear Ended Today

Hi, Just after some quick info!

Whilst we were stationary a car ran into the back of us today and the lady has accepted full responsibility and said she was doing approx. 10 mph! on the surface their doesn't seem to be any damage just some scuff marks from the coming together!

My question, is their any thing that i should look for behind the bumper that would be obvious to the technically minded or would it be better to have the pros to look at it? i don't want to let it go just incase something has been damaged out of sight?

Check the boot floor, lift the mat etc, make sure thats not buckled. Does the boot lid close properly?

if you are not totally sure what you are looking at then take it to a body shop & have it checked out properly , no good finding out in 3 months time something is damaged.

make sure you get it checked by a professional , my last car was hit in the rear just like yourself and from the outside it did not appear to be too bad however the car was declared a total loss as boot floor was bent etc and was uneconomical to repair, it is the hidden damage that you cannot see that needs checking,
check around the spare wheel well and where the back panel of car meets boot floor
