Default What SCREEN WASH do you use (BEWARE)

After some of you may remember i had a little rear end problem, my car hit a post(no jokes please).

I picked the car up a few days ago and the washer jets stopped working on the front, i checked that the water was full but funny thing is the rear and the headlight washers still worked
Took it back the the repairers and they ordered a new pump motor for the front washer which also does the rear. They fitted the new one and then none of the washers worked at all
The chap took it apart again and noticed lots of blue jelly stuff in the water bottle, straight away he told me that was blocking all my pipes and did i buy that cheap stuff at Halfrauds and yes i did. That was the problem, they took ages but flushed the system out and emptied the bottle(hot water to desolve it)and its working fine now.
Dont let this happen to you, its a pain in the ****.

P.S this had nothing to do with the rear end damage to my car but they fixed it for me and billed the insurance company.

Sterident tabs, you get a gunge blocks the motor up with some screenwashes, but the old false moler cleaner sorts it out.

Water, and sometimes washing up liquid (very dilute)

The gunk is very very common and does blockup filter, pumps, pipes etc.

    Default Screen Wash

My own experience is to stick with one brand and keep it on the dilute side.
Previously I used whatever I could lay my hands on and this resulted in
    1) The water smelling like cat p**
    2) The dreaded jelly

Since sticking to Halford's concentrated screenwash I haven't had any problems

I use the halfords stuff, but the more expensive one (can't remember the name off the top of my head) as it contains water softeners.

I've been lazy lately have been using the ready to use stuff without any probs, infact it's been quite good.

The only problem I had once (was a non VX car) was using too much meaning that there was so many bubbles the pump couldn't pump the water
