It sounds alot like a boost deviation. Had this happen a few times on my dti, it goes into limp home mode but doesn't store a code.
Try giving the boost sensor a clean
pain in backside really coz theirs so many possibilities but does sound like good shout.Gonna leave it see how it goes over next week. Only coz getting to boost sensor on v6 is bit more awkward than usual
What happened after this? Very similar to mine, particularly as I'd just filled up and it started after that.
all i will say mate is shell diesel will of caused it my old vectra did it everytime i used shell derv
This was BP regular diesel and because of locality of garages it gets BP diesel more often than not. However, never been to this one before, Chieveley services on M4 near Newbury. Taking it for a fuel filter change tomorrow to see what's what. See my thread I just posted.
Nothing mate it's ran perfect ever since an no more fault codes or pending codes at all.
One of life's little misteries lol
Thanks anyway, just had fuel filter replaced and it's all back to normal. Old filter was thick black. It's only been on for 6K
Yeah I've found after. 5/6k their really full of muck shows quality of fuel ay lol
Mine has been throwing fits the past few days. At first it wouldn't start on friday (13th!). I removed the fuel filter (only been in for 1.5k) cleaned the housing, and when it did start I had no power + judder at typical revs (1700rpm just judders and immense turbo whistle coupled with black smoke).
1 mile down the road it decided to run properly, full power, no smoke, no judder...it's been running fine ever since. *knock on wood*
