    Yeah i know i got that one on watch to but its a case of getting the part numbers for all the little bits too. But she is off to the garage tomorrow to be stripped down

    By little bits i mean the bonnet catch rivets etc

    Anyway she has gone to the garage along with a reg number of a facelift sri complete with xp for them to get part numbers.

    Just got to wait now

    Update from the garage, all stripped down just waiting on parts to arrive. Shuld have it back next week

    Happy for you. If this is all being funded by Micra Woman's insurers how did you persuade them that paying for a facelift conversion on a 54 reg Vec with 177k on it was economically viable? What's your car worth??

    they are buying all new panels i would imagine, bonnet, wings, headlights as part of the repairs anyway, dont think there is much of a difference between preface and facelift prices...?

    Obviously not Direct Line then!Surely the cost of repairing it, facelift or not, would have been pretty high?

    probably looking at £1500 upwards? Think i remember someone sayiing they are repairing cars now to 90% of market value just to save money on payouts
