    Default stopping strobing idea

just fitted leds in my angel eyes and wondered if wirig the leds off the battery through a relay that is switched by the sidelight wiring with a 40ohm resitor in the circi would work. it appears that everyone just accepts the strobing is ot avoidable.
just a thought from a non electrician ......anyone tried it?
    thoughts please

Yes if you take a feed off a seperate power supply relay switched it will work fine, the pulse from the bulb check shouldn't be enough to affect the relay.

It's not a question of it being unavoidable, just that most of us drive with our sidelights on because if you've gone to the bother of fitting nice lights and LEDs you want them to be seen

Honestly, no idea, I swapped my standard headlights back in for my last MOT just to get it through without any possible "issues".

Did you wire the LED negative independently back to chassis or leave the negative from the LED's to return through the wiring loom?

Does the strobing only occur after engine stop?
