Default Different Pt No.s for 1.8VVT Camshaft Solenoids

Does anybody know what the difference is between the two part numbers I have found for the camshaft solenoids on the 1.8VVT? (Z18XER engine)

    ie. Pt No. 12992408

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ws/eBayISA...vip=true&rt=nc

and then there is Pt No. 55567050

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vauxhall-C...item2c628b6d3c

I know for a fact that the first number, 12992408, is what's in my own car (2006 SRi) as I took one out the other day to verify it.

The first link states "Vectra C 2002+ & Signum with Z18XER engine code up to Chassis Number 71999999." My own chassis number is W0L0ZCF68********, so it would appear to tie in with this. I wondered if the two parts numbers were interchangeable or not though?

Could be either of those suggestions I daresay. I suppose the safest option would be to stick with the number I know is fitted, but wondered if it was ok to fit either type.

VX EPC shows 12992408 as NLS and says "use 55567049". It only lists 55567050 under Zafira.

Cheers. I assume NLS means "No longer sold" or similar?

I've always assumed it's "no longer supplied" but I suppose it could be "sold" or "stocked". In any case you've got the right idea.

Cheers. Might well make sense, given the amount of folk on here that have had to change these.
