Sily question dunky but why have they had it for 7 weeks for a head?

Oh my word.....its been leaking coolant since I bought it 18months ago. Its been back 7 times now, 2 head gaskets, 2 new alternators, a new water pump, a skimmed head and several new connections later, no fix. It went back on the 2nd may. It took 3 weeks of searching and they found a crack in the head, queue a 2 week wait for a part to be delivered and 1 week to put the head back together and I'll tell you what, it'd better be fixed this time!
