    Default On Board Computer 'thingy'!!!

I asked for help the other day on how to re-set the clock and most of you recommended putting the radio to RDS and it would set itself-hopefully? It hasn't and i must admit i'm struggling with the whole computer 'thing' in general. Where do i work it from? Its been freezing here today and every time i've been in the car the screen's popped up with, "warning icy conditions' or something like that and i just can't get rid of it!!! I would have thought a quick flick of a switch or button somewhere would get rid of that annoying warning. (P.S: Does the engine have to be switched off to work it?) I know its a safety/warning feature but to have it stuck in your face all the time is a bit much! I want simplicity and it seems i can't have it, even operating my PC seems a doddle compared to that onboard computer 'thingy'. Help please someone, and in layman's terms if you know what i mean? A step by step easy peasy guide would be most appreciated. Thanks lads!

Cheers yorkshireborn and you again david-bell. You're both gonna think, "is this guy thick or what?" (perhaps you're right there lads) but them there buttons what you've kindly photographed for me are the one's i've been playing around with earlier today and NOTHING! Before i get too excited though i'll give it another bash in the morning (perhaps i weren't doing it right) its too damn cold out there to be messing right now. One last thing though, does the engine have to be switched off to alter the settings etc? What a great bunch of people you lot on here are, i mean that! Never ever have i had so much help AND from total strangers. Appreciate it, i really do. Thanks a lot!

I'll suss it it in the end you'll see. Apart from that prob i'm having, so far i love the car to pieces. I heard from some quarters the 2.2 SRi petrol wasn't particularly quick, well its certainly plenty quick enough for what i want! Ride and handling is spot on. Different beast to the Focus 1.6 Zetec, although to be fair the Focus served me very well over the last 2 and a half years, musn't grumble.
