    Default Sahara Sands

Although it isn't the first time its happened, it has been a while since it was this bad.

I don't know who else has noticed the exceptionally dirty rain we have been experiencing of late. This is due to the south-easterly winds brining the fine desert sands over this way. Rain needs something to condense around and this dust is ideal.

So long story short, the awful state of a car I wake up to almost every morning, is entirely due to the poxy Sahara Desert...

So far its has been washed every day this week, it'll need a good polish again soon

    Anyone else having this problem?

No not having this problem, but yes have read about it in the past. Snowfoam the best way to avoid further damage.

I woke up to it this morning mate, just cleaned the car the evening before, was not a happy chappy. Just jet washed the muck off and I'll give it another proper wash next week if it's not too bad.

We have been getting it bad too, fortunately it doesn't show up so much on a silver car! Will be treating her to a good wash this weekend.

Getting it here in Derbyshire - thought I was getting a free car wash yesterday - but now its stopped and they have dried off - all three cars need cleaning ! Suppose it could have been worse hailstones!
We had some heavy showers that lifted the drain covers in the streets - I had to go out in my Vectra while it was throwing it down and thundering and lightening and the remote for the doors wouldn't open the doors - tried it again when the rain stopped and it was fine - spooky
